Inspired by the American women who withdrew their labour from the textile factories almost a century ago in what became known as the ‘Bread and Roses’ strike. Their banners read: “we want bread, and roses too” which meant that the spirit as well as the body needs nourishment. Beer was known by the Paulaner monks as ‘liquid bread’.
A naturally cloudy wheat beer, fermented with wheat beer yeast. Brewed with Hallertau hops with added lime and coriander. Crisp and high in carbonation, this beer has pronounced citrus notes, a gentle bitterness and a dry finish.
A perfect drink for the summer.
