Based in Vilafranca del Penedès (Barcelona), we've come a long way since we brewed our first beer in 2013. With so much great wine, cava and food produced in our backyard, we have a lot to live up to. We love a challenge!
James Campbell joined us as a consultant in 2014, fresh from his tenure as Head Brewer at Marble Beers in Manchester. With more years than he cares to remember in the brewing industry, James knocked BeerCat novice brewers into shape, influenced recipe creation and taught Peter everything he knows about cleaning a copper! In the meantime, James helped to establish the Manchester brewery Cloudwater in 2015 and was Head Brewer there until 2018. Under his guidance, Cloudwater was named the “second best brewery in the world” by beer rating site Rate Beer in 2018.
Xavi loves wine and his native Penedès. As a wine sommelier he brings new insights and ideas into the world of beer.
